Boundaries at the Age of Surreal

“Boundaries at the Age of Surreal” is a collection of digital works, which I made for my thesis exhibition at Athens School of Fine Arts (Greece). These works investigate the boundaries between the natural and the artificial world and are based on the radical consequences of technology, biotechnology, and biosciences in our everyday reality. Based on real and surreal scenarios, my works explore the boundaries of what we consider to be natural and what is thought to be artificial - that is the product of our technological civilization, the ethical issues evolved during the process of evolution, and our connection with the animals and other organisms/species.
