Life and death, love, desire, pleasure and pain. In this art unit, based on poems of Luís Filipe Cristóvão, the body as energy, spirit and matter, strictly connected to its environment, becomes the vehicle that expresses feelings and thoughts. The body feels pleasure and pain, and struggles for salvation. An exploration of man’s and woman’s nature, of the relationship between them, a journey to our ephemeral existence, an effort of getting close to our inner self, to seek for the unknown, to set questions, and maybe give some answers, too. ‘There is a thin light at the end of town’….because of ‘a love that is still here’.
